Pricing per mailbox, for one person. Every mailbox starts free and stays free for as long as you like. Pro is £2.92 a month per mailbox, paid annually at £34.99 + VAT, bought only on the mailboxes you use hard. Personal or business, the plan is the same, and there is nothing to buy per person because you are the person.

Pricing per mailbox means both are bought, or not bought, one mailbox at a time. A mailbox on Pro and a mailbox on free sit side by side in the same account, and each keeps its own allowance. Everything it can do, and the control you keep, is on the features page.

New: routines
Every routine is on both plans, and a run is paid for in calls from the mailbox's own allowance: 5 a day on Free, 1,000 on Pro. Here is the most each one makes in a run, with the choices it starts with, set against both. Free is the way to try one; Pro is the way to keep one, or all of them, running every morning.

Each figure is the most a run can make, and the card on the Routines tab says how many each run did. Replies waiting has its own dial: each draft it writes is 2 calls, so asking for fewer drafts makes a run cheaper.
Your AI's own plan matters too. Scheduled tasks in Claude need a paid Claude plan. On ChatGPT's free plan a task runs once a day, within a time window.
Billing
One account, as many mailboxes as you want to connect, and Pro bought for each mailbox you want it on. A typical set-up: your main work mailbox on Pro, and a couple of others on the free tier, such as an old domain or a shared enquiries address you rarely touch. We spell this out because the other reading is the one that causes trouble. Being quoted a price "for as many mailboxes as you need", then billed for each of them, is a genuinely common experience in this category. It's the kind of surprise that ends a customer relationship on the first invoice rather than the second.
So: £34.99 + VAT buys Pro on one mailbox for one year. 2 mailboxes on Pro cost twice that. Nothing else changes with volume: there's no per-seat charge, no minimum and no setup fee.
The one thing on this site bought per account rather than per mailbox is Team Access. It's for giving other people their own connection to your mailboxes, and one person working alone never needs it.
Worked example
Say you connect 2 mailboxes: the work address you live in, and a personal one you check twice a day. Put the work mailbox on Pro and leave the personal one on free.

Move the personal mailbox to Pro as well and the year costs £69.98 + VAT. That's taken as 2 separate annual payments, each renewing on its own date and each cancellable on its own.
The allowances never pool. A quiet Pro mailbox doesn't lend its calls to a busy one, because the limit belongs to the mailbox, not to you.
The honest test
The free tier is sized to prove the product works on your own mailbox, not to run a working day on. One MCP call is one use of one tool. So finding a thread, reading it and replying to it is 3 calls, and 5 a day is 1 of those and a look at what came in.
If you use an assistant with your mail properly, you'll pass 5 calls quickly. That's the honest reason Pro exists.
The sign that a mailbox wants Pro is waiting for the window to roll round. The limit is a rolling 24 hours, not a counter that empties at midnight. So a busy afternoon costs the following morning's calls.
Meet the limit once, on the day you finally clear a backlog, and that's what the free tier is for. Meet it most days on the same mailbox, and that's the mailbox to put on Pro. The others can stay where they are.
It's deliberately loose. The filing and flagging tools take up to 500 messages in one call, so a session that clears a year of newsletters is a handful of calls rather than hundreds. The triage guide counts what a real inbox pass costs.
The developer and reviewer offer is a complimentary year of Pro for people who'll test it properly and publish what they find, with no obligation to be kind.

Per mailbox. One account holds as many mailboxes as you like, and Pro is bought for each mailbox you want it on, so one Pro mailbox beside several free ones is a normal way to use it. We say this plainly because the other reading is the one that generates angry emails. The one thing bought per account is Team Access, which has its own page, and one person working alone doesn't need it.
The mailbox stops accepting MCP calls until its earliest recent call is 24 hours old, then starts again. The limit is a rolling 24 hours, not a counter that empties at midnight, so a call made on a busy afternoon counts until the same time the following afternoon. Nothing is deleted, nothing is disconnected, and no charge is made. That's 5 calls per mailbox in any 24 hours, the same number the control panel shows.
Yes, annually, and you can stop the renewal on any mailbox at any time. Pro then continues to the end of the period you have already paid for rather than stopping on the day you cancel, and the mailbox drops back to the free tier afterwards with nothing disconnected and nothing deleted.
There is no time-limited trial, because the free tier is better than one: it does not expire. Every tool works on the free tier, mail, calendar and address book alike, and the only difference is the daily call limit, so you can test the thing you are actually buying for as long as you want before buying it.
It's worth it on whichever mailbox you use hard: Pro is £34.99 + VAT a year whether it's personal or business. 5 calls a day covers asking what came in and answering one message, not working through an inbox, since finding, reading and replying to a thread is 3 calls. If you're often waiting for the 24-hour window to roll round, Pro is worth it there. If you never meet the limit, it isn't, and the free tier doesn't expire.
